Zikr For Increase In Wealth, Zikr, also called as Zekr, Dhikr and variants means remembrance. In Islam, Zikr is the name of a devotional act. In this act prayers and short phrases are recited repeatedly in silence or aloud. Just like rosaries of Christians and Japa Mala of Hindus, the prayers or the phrases are counted on string of beads called Misbaha or on a set of prayer beads.
The person who recites the Zikr or the phrases is called as Dakir. There is another thing called Tasbih which is another form of Dhikr and it involves reciting short sentences in the glory of god repeatedly. The prayer includes dua or names of Allah which are taken from Quran or the Hadith.
Importance of Zikr
According to Islam and as mentioned in Quran there are several verses that states the importance of remembering God and reciting certain phrases like Inshaallah, Mashallah which means if it is your will and God has willed it respectively. These sayings and many more like these are the basis of Zikr.
As per Islam, remembering God always and if you forget then asking repentance from God and asking him to guide you to do better next time is the best way to stay close to God and seek his blessings.
